When Stephanie and Anthony came to the studio with their daughter just over a month ago, I knew right away that they were going to be great to work with on their wedding day.
Like most wedding photographers, I keep a close eye on the weather reports in the run up to a wedding - rain and bright sunshine both bring their fair share of problems; I actually love days with lots of clouds to keep the light soft and beautiful and yesterday, mother nature certainly obliged me.
It was my first visit to Ty Newydd Country Hotel which sits on the outskirts of the Brecon Beacons (one of my favourite places in the world) and as I drove up the winding driveway I could see there would be no shortage of lovely places to shoot Stephanie and Anthony's bride and groom portraits.
The day played out perfectly and it was so touching to see Anthony shed a few tears as he awaited the arrival of his beautiful bride.
It's always nice to come away from a wedding having had a great day and knowing that you have gorgeous photos for your bride and groom and yesterday I left on a real high.
Congratulations Stephanie and Anthony and thank you for making me part of your special day.
