A couple of weeks ago I was asked to photograph the Autism Heroes Awards launch at the Welsh Assembly Building. The winners will be announced at Holly's Ball which helps raise money for autism charities. You can find out more information about the awards here http://www.autismheroesawards.co.uk/
I love shooting in the Senedd because even on fairly gloomy days, it has the most amazing natural light (and if you've read my other blogs, you will know how much I love natural light). I'm also fascinated by the ceiling in there.
The event coincided with World Autism Awareness Day and it was great to see so many people supporting this brilliant cause. There were some very inspiring speakers and some beautiful singing from a Welsh choir and two young solo singers. The event was rounded off by blowing bubbles on the steps of the Senedd.
Below are some of the photos from the day. If you'd like to keep up to date with Holly's Ball, you can follow their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hollys-Ball-Raising-Autism-Awareness-Codi-Ymwybyddiaeth-Awtistiaeth/104109142985727?fref=ts
