I first met Sara and Mo a couple of years ago through a mutual friend. They're a great couple who I get on really well with so I was delighted when they asked me to capture their wedding.
I try to reflect a couple's personality during pre wedding shoots so I knew that Sara and Mo's shoot needed to be fun. We chose to shoot at Porthkerry Park as the viaduct makes a pretty awesome backdrop for photos.
Mid evening is my favourite time to shoot because of the amazing quality of the light; the low sun gives everything a golden glow and gives everything wonderful definition thanks to the shadows. It's easy to see why it's called the golden hour.
Sara and Mo have a very relaxed, easygoing relationship and I think their photos really convey just how comfortable they are in each others company. Shooting with my zoom lens gave them plenty of room to be themselves and to let their hair down.
I'm so excited to shoot their wedding at Canada Lodge next month, fingers crossed we'll have equally gorgeous weather.
